Yoga Classes in Telford Claire Studd Wild Thing Ironbridge Gorge

Weekly All Levels Hatha Yoga

Accessible yoga classes where all levels of experience are welcome. These classes consist of a foundational set of poses and transitions designed to strengthen and mobilise all areas of your body, simple breath work to steady the mind and guided relaxation. There will also be something new to try each week to build on the skills you have developed with the foundational postures.

Modifications to postures will be given to suit all levels of experience in the room so you can choose your own level of challenge. The class is suitable for beginners with a reasonable level of fitness even if you have not attended a Beginners Course.

The classes are offered on a drop-in basis so you can start classes at any time and attend as often as your schedule allows.

You can also join these classes on Zoom from your own room..

All you need to bring to class is a yoga mat, a drink and something warm to wear at the end of class. I recommend wearing form-fitting exercise clothes for comfort. We practise barefoot.

Yoga Strong & Vinyasa Yoga Classes

An energising yoga practice where we flow from one pose to another following the rhythm of the breath. This breath-led flow manages to be both demanding and meditative in unison. As we build skill in the practice of this dance with the breath we develop a state of grace & equanimity.

The sequences are designed to develop strength, stamina, mobility and to vitality. It’s a playful practice with options for ‘easier’ and ‘more difficult’ versions of each pose and the opportunity to build confidence with arm balance and inversion poses when you are ready.

Wednesday Vinyasa class on Zoom is a stronger class where we creatively vary the sequence and focus over time.
